Syracuse based SRS Cinema set to begin a new feature film production
12/04/08

SRS Cinema, based out of Syracuse, NY, is set to begin a new feature film tentatively called “One” and to be shot in the Syracuse, NY region. This comes on the eve of the DVD release of their 2007-2008 production “Clay” (www.claythemovie.com), also produced in Central New York.
“One” was written by Ron Bonk who will also direct. It is being produced by Va. Filmmaker Jonathan Straiton (“Big Fish in Middlesex”, “The Two Plates”). Ron recently hired Jonathan to relocate to CNY to aid in the distribution and production duties of SRS. Jonathan will also serve as assistant director of photography and assistant camera person on this new production.
“One” is the story of a cannibal cult, lead by a mysterious woman, laying siege one night to a low income apartment building. Just when it looks like all hope is lost for the few remaining residents, another strange woman arrives with her own agenda in regards to the cult. It is a horror movie with a heavy bent on action.
